Tools and other things you will need

Large wrench, Chain locks, Punches of different sizes. Socket and ratchet set, Wheel bearing grease, A catch and a pair of jack stands, New cotter pin, New oil seals, Wheel Bearings, Assorted Keys, Wheel blocks, Safety glasses and One or two wipes.

Now, the method to change the wheel bearing.

  1. First remove your rotor by removing the caliper disc brake.

  2. fter that the bearing cap should be removed. If you are doing it first time then use the chammelocks, it is simply press fitted.

  3. hen the cap is off, a cotter pin is visible, remove the cotter pin and also carefully remove the retainer.

  4. emove the spindle nut.

  5. hen remove the outer wheel bearing and washer.

  6. liding the rotor or drum pin, you will see the grease seal, remove it. Wheel bearing is now visible take it out.

  7. ub should be cleaned from inside and if there is any bearing races inside the hub then remove it.

  8. ake a punch with a flat narrow tip and place it on the back of the race.

  9. nce it's out, flip the rotor or drum over and do the same for the other race.

  10. lean the inside of the hub with some rags and make sure the spindle is also cleaned.
